☕️Begin your day at a new baseline. And this doesn’t have to mean giving up the cup of coffee (or even the second one!)

There’s other tweaks you can integrate instead. Tune in to the process, ritualize the moment (because if you’re like me, you go through these step regularly).

📱For me it’s 2 things. Setting my phone down (and turning it facedown), and taking a few deep breaths. From there I can witness my mind stream for a moment. And from there the subtle shift begins.

🌻 And if you want an added joosh, a little sprinkle of cinnamon and cardamom on top for some calming and sweetness to counterbalance the acidity and stimulation of the latte.

Sipping slowly today: 2 shots of espresso , topped with foamy almond milk and a pinches of cinnamon and cardamom on top .

Did you know that HOW you eat can be just as important as what you eat—and sitting down for your meals is considered a simple but powerful act of nourishment. 🍽️

It’s all about the parasympathetic state—often called “rest and digest.” And we get there through slowing down everything for a moment, starting with our breath.

Your digestive system benefits, along with your post-meal energy and the connection we all crave with what’s taking place at a deeper level.

This is all deeply tied to building Ojas—the subtle essence of vitality, immunity, and overall well-being. (Which I don’t know about you, but this is something I’ll always welcome more of. 🌻)

Even taking just a few intentional breaths before eating, while seated, can shift your entire experience of a meal—from something rushed and unconscious into a moment of grounding, gratitude, and true nourishment. 💨

When the waitlist for my favorite yoga class won this morning (everyone showed up, which meant I had to roll up my mat), I drove away from the studio knowing I had a choice…

Head home and start packing the holidays away, OR…

A 6 mile drive, to a 45 minute uphill trek ✨alone✨, on a trail I’d never done, and here I stand looking out over this city. Grateful. Perspective is everything. ✨ Happy Day mamas, let’s celebrate the moments of pivot.✨

Where today started and where it’s going…
Today I heard the words, “I feel like a new person,” not once, but twice. ✨ Moments like these remind me why I began this work in the first place—to nourish, to restore, and to stand alongside mothers as they find their footing again.

I’m so deeply grateful for the trust placed in me. Together, we are creating a circle of care that uplifts and sustains. 💛

Here’s to continuing the work of mothering mothers—because when mothers are cared for, whole families thrive.

It’s a busy week around here — caring for two brand new families (and the sweetest, sleepiest newborns 🤍). Feeling grateful for the slower summer days that gave me space to just be with my own kids and tend to myself. Now, being back to work feels so good — showing up with a full heart. ✨
