sorry, what was that? i couldn't hear you over my sobs because my little sister graduated college😭

T Money, you are so smart, dedicated, independent, stubborn(so gah damn stubborn) and one of the most sure-of-herself people i know. You are the Chihuahua to my Lab 😂 you inspire me to stand up for myself, and never let anyone take advantage of my niceness. (Even tho you sometimes bark us into situations i have to get pit bull for LOL)

We have literally been the only constant for eachother our entire lives...we've only had one another while going through some really hard family stuff & that has created a bond that not many people understand.

no matter how much we fight (as all sisters do lol) you are the chicken nugget to my ranch. we are completely opposite but compliment eachother so well & belong together 🤪
I am sooo proud of you & can't wait to see what you accomplish as you take on your masters at CBU. 🤍

when I finished my masters i said i was done with school - the only way I would go back is to get another degree from my dream school.... God laughed and said close but not quite sweetheart lol

Today I accepted a position at my dream school as a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist😭
I prayed, persisted, and prayed some more. This is all You, God ✌🏾

in past years i would’ve had the perfect picture w/ the perfect caption planned out.
but I realize the the most perfect things are not documented. the best parts of my life are the mundane moments. the deep car talks with my bestfriends, the daily coffee trips with my sister, sitting in a drive thru for an hour to get donuts with my man. I’m so thankful & blessed for the people i have & where I’m currently at in life. life is better when you’re just living it & I’m truly living my best life❣️ #24

*redownloaded my IG for a guest appearance for my cousin’s birthday*

when I was in middle school and elementary school I used to get picked on. The girls bullied me because I was by far the poorest one in the group and the guys picked on me because I developed at an early age. Around the same time CPS took my sister and I from my mom and I was forced to go live with my dad who I didn’t know.

Being a pr***en girl going through all this made me grow up quick and made me feel so alone— but I quickly realized I wasn’t. Selena was the only person who I could talk to at that time. She never let anyone pick on me when she was around and she always tried to understand what was going on in my crazy family situation. From High School Musical marathon sleepovers, creating dances to the Cheetah Girls, to prank calling boys we liked in middle school, to ditching all of junior and senior year, we’ve always been inseparable.

although we’ve gotten older and our situations have changed, our relationship has never strayed. I’m so blessed to know who’s going to be the person with me in every up or down in life and vice versa.

Happy 24th birthday to my Pepe, my ride or die my cousin, bestfriend & other half 🤍
