Happy New Year! Many of us typically ring in the New Year in our best party attire and a spritz or two of our favorite fragrance. We feel sexier in our favorite scent and a lot of us do not head out the door without it, but most of us do not have a clue that many hidden ingredients in fragrances may not be so sexy. Unlike the whole of Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the US does not require manufacturers of fragrances and many of the personal care product manufacturers to list all in the ingredients in their products. What is in your fragrance? Petrochemicals or known hormone disrupters? For anyone who doesn't leave the house without that spritz of their favorite scent, this is a MUST READ analysis conducted by our friends at the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. Make it a healthier 2012 and take action for stricter labeling in the cosmetic and fragrance industries. Isn't your health worth it?
