Hi everyone I’m sunnie! i do things a bit differently here in the RGV. I offer personalized mobile personal training primarily for women and youth athletes, designed to make fitness simple, supportive, and accessible. I travel to you—whether that’s your home, a local park, or a track—and provide all the equipment needed for each session. With over 4 years of professional training experience and over 10 years of athletic and sports performance knowledge, I’ve worked with clients ranging from ages 9 to 60. I focus on strength training, conditioning, weight loss, and athletic development in a safe, encouraging environment—so all you have to do is show up.

Today’s topic i will be touching on is the importance of a CALORIC DEFICIT!

A caloric deficit is when you are burning more calories than you are consuming on an overall basis, which if you are looking to lose weight you NEED to be on a CALORIE DEFICIT. This is the only way to lose pounds!

When you’re in a deficit, your body doesn’t have enough energy from food so therefore :
• It turns to stored energy (mostly body fat) to make up the difference.
• Over time, this leads to weight and fat loss.

You cannot “spot reduce” fat ( for example back fat, belly fat, arm fat) but a calorie deficit causes overall body fat to reduce in which over time can cause weight loss.
