I’m doing a 72 hour fast. Here are my thoughts on my fasting experience so far:

Coming up on 36 hours into my fast. Halfway done! Fasting always freaked me out but my friend suggested I try it about a month ago.

I woke up yesterday morning feeling ready and like it was what I needed. I never thought I would be one to say that. It was in my head and my heart.

I thought about food a lot yesterday but last night into this morning I’ve been okay. No weakness. I went to hot yoga for the first time ever and moved my body for the first time in a long time.

I feel strong. Mentally and even physically.

Fasting is not for everyone. Please do research and talk to a practitioner
