Week six at The Links was short but packed with great sessions, golf lessons, training, and wellness.
Here’s what our team was focused on:
• Seena, our Director of Fitness, progressed a member’s FMT chop to better match what they’re working on in lessons. Started by initiating rotation from the hips first, then allowing the chest and arms to follow.
• Michael, our Director of Instruction, worked with a client on creating a more stable base and reducing excessive lean in the swing to limit inconsistencies. A quick look at our lesson setup shows both down-the-line and face-on views, along with all performance data, available during every session.
• Dr. Dave, our Director of Physical Therapy, educated a few members on the importance of the SI joint for transferring force from the lower to upper body. They covered the difference between form and force closure and why strengthening the pelvic floor is critical.
We wrapped up a short week celebrating the holidays with our families. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season and if you’re interested in becoming a member at The Links, apply using the link in our bio.
