The Miracle of Friendship
There is a called that dwells within the heart and you don’t know how it happens or when it even starts.
But the happiness it brings you, always gives a special lift and you realize that friendship is life’s most precious gift.

The way Amy’s and my life connected was truly timing from our Heavenly Father: cancer, a job, a divorce, and a tragic death- all at once! The Lord knew each one of us. Amy has picked up my calls when I’ve had ABSOLUTELY nothing to say, but a heart so extremely heavy, she’s allowed me to cry over the phone. I have done the same. We love each other where we are at and are excited to see where we are going. Darrin knows my thoughts aren’t complete without consulting Amy. Her friendship is everything to me.

This US Flag hangs in Snow Canyon and what a magnificent site to see it hanging! With a son serving full time in the Army, listening to his experiences, skills and training, the more these scriptures resonate with me. How grateful I am every day for these men and women for their willingness to serve our country and to each one of us.

We are reading (from Moroni) the account of the Brother of Jared and three times he says: “. …they should come forth even unto the land of promise, which was choice above all other lands, which the Lord God had preserved for a righteous people.” “that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God. …” ~Ether 2:7-9

Nothing welcomes like seeing peppermint ice cream!! Our Christmas Eve traditional dessert is this ice cream with hot brownies smothered in … yum. This is something my mom started and our family has carried on. I will admit, I miss her (mom, nanny, Sue) more and more. Time surely does pass, that’s for sure. But as my kids grow older, it’s NOW I need her advice. It’s NOW I need her to tell me what to say, what to do, how to love more when I feel so lost myself. I am grateful for these little quirky traditions that we keep to add joy to our lives to uplift us abs bring us together. Food does that.

Our Army Boy is growing up. He bought his first car. And like his parents, he bought a . For the past 24+ years, Darrin and I have owned a (Jetta Turbo, Passat Station Wagon, Jetta Sports Turbo, Passat…) and now Jack and his Jetta. No doubt he will love it too. Lots of memories to be made on the roads in North Carolina.
CHANGE MAKER- is truly My Surrey! She loves animals, so she became a vegetarian. She took to the violin and no
doubt with talent from an angelic Uncle helping and watching her. She loves to paint and finds beauty in everything. I know her Nanny hint drops every chance she can to bring color and imagination to fruition. It’s fun to see her true self come to life. We love Our Surrey Soo!

While living in South Jordan many years ago, Megan was dressed in one of her Disney Princess dresses. I said something like: Good Morning Princess! She quickly responded with: I’m no princess, stupid, I’m Megan…. (She got that right!) She truly is My Human Sunshine.

Semi Private Reformer with Tower classes are coming in November to Entrata. Come try classes this Friday and Saturday (November 1st and 2nd) at the Entrata Wellness Center, where it’s equipped with a full gym, med spa, group fitness classes, water aerobics, outdoor pool, and pickleball courts. So excited to work with such a dynamic and experienced team of instructors.
