In celebration of Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week, we are on Lilybeth Solis, Administrator, for her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to resident-centered care.

Lilybeth is entering her fifth year as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, but her journey in healthcare began at the bedside. She started her career working on the floor as a CNA in a hospital, where she quickly realized she wanted something more: the opportunity to truly build relationships with the people she cared for.

“In long-term care, residents either live here as their home and you build a bond with them, or they come in for short-term rehab, and you get to see their progress and recovery. In the hospital setting, it felt more fast-paced and there wasn’t much opportunity to build those relationships with patients.”

What ultimately led Lilybeth into administration was the opportunity to build and support strong teams that can provide high-quality care. “I wanted to be in a role where I could support staff, improve the environment for residents, and help ensure that the care being delivered is the best it can be.”
