Huge shoutout to Case for the work he’s been putting in since joining us for training this summer. We’ve only been at it for about a month, but the progress he’s made already has been impressive — and it’s not by accident. It comes down to three key qualities that set him apart from most kids his age:
1) Truly Coachable – Not just the polite “yes sir” kind of coachable, but the kind that actually listens, learns, and applies feedback. There’s a big difference between hearing something and making real changes. Case is the kind of athlete who applies what he learns.
2) He Wants to Understand the Why – Case doesn’t just go through the motions. He asks thoughtful questions because he wants to understand the purpose behind the work. That’s a sign of someone who’s bought in — someone who’s aiming for long-term growth, not just short-term praise.
3) Grit – In a time when a lot of kids check out at the first sign of difficulty, Case leans in. He embraces the strain, refuses to count bad reps, and holds himself to a high standard. He’s not looking for shortcuts — he’s chasing real improvement.
Excited to see where this momentum takes him as we move into the fall!
