Your favorite tea lady is on tonight’s episode of Antique Roadshow on PBS !!
I won tickets to my favorite show, Antique Roadshow, in February 2025. I drove down to Savannah with some items to get appraised for my mom, had lunch, and parked at the event’s FULL parking lot.
I had things itemized, and sent on the way to a table of appraisers. I met some great people and saw amazing antiques! I didn’t know what to expect. The first item appraised by Ian Erhling, a signed collection by Andy Warhol “Myths” which featured 10 of his most iconic images. *Back story* My grandmother met Andy in Sacramento in 1981 and had this signed to my mom, Kathryn. Ian seemed a little stumped and asked his colleagues (I was anxious immediately), then he asked if I wanted to be on the show, talk to producers, and go to the green room. ON MY FAVORITE SHOW?! YES, KING.
So we were whisked away to a much cooler green room where I got my makeup touched up. PURRR.
We waited patiently, and finally it was camera time! By the end of filming, we had missed all the appraisers to look at our other items like a signed Rolling Stones poster & about 10 vintage band shirts. They called an appraiser over who helped me get sorted, gave estimates, and i headed back to the car.
Literally the last car in the parking lot. What a time! Thanks to my mom for letting me get some of her items appraised! A TIME WAS HAD.
