Forgotten Places Society

Forgotten Places Society Nearly two decades of clearing shadows, preserving history, and helping beauty bloom again. Because the wildest flowers grow in the roughest dirt.

From paranormal investigations and urban exploring to spreading hope, healing and spiritual wellness through stories, art, photography, music and more.. Forgotten Places Society is a soulful, small-town brand rooted in nearly two decades of paranormal research, history, urban exploration, and spiritual storytelling. We began in 2006 as a paranormal investigation team — chasing shadows, preserving h

istory, and holding space for the things most folks overlook. Over time, we’ve witnessed lives changed, shadows cleared, and faith restored. Today, our journey continues through a blend of art, photography, energy work, and handmade natural items — shared at festivals, markets, and wandering road trips across West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and North Alabama. From dark hallways to open-air fairs, we now bring our stories, experience, and the same spiritual tools we once used to help countless families, individuals, and businesses clear their spaces, restore peace, and cleanse what lingers unseen. Our mission is to honor the places that once mattered, hold space for the people who still do, and spark spiritual revival by helping others rediscover beauty in what’s been left behind. And sometimes, the forgotten just need someone to see them again.

Caught this sunset over Pickwick the other evening and honestly… moments like this remind me there’s still peace left in the world if you slow down long enough to notice it.

No notifications. No noise. Just the water, the sky, the breeze, and a reminder that creation still speaks for itself.

Somewhere between the fading sunlight and the quiet water, you realize not everything beautiful has to be loud. Sometimes God shows up in stillness more than thunder.

Hope you took a minute to look up today.

He been posted up for 3 days straight… watching… waiting… calculating… 👀🐿️
Meanwhile the birds just out here living their best life like nothing’s wrong…. Somewhere in the distance… one bird knows.
But it’s already too late.

There’s something about small towns that just stays with you..

We took a slow stroll a few weeks ago through historic downtown Iuka, Mississippi this week, camera in hand, just letting the streets tell their story. Old brick storefronts, faded signs, sunlight hitting buildings that have seen generations come and go… you can feel the history there if you let yourself slow down long enough.

Iuka’s roots run deep — from its days as a mineral spring destination in the 1800s to its place in Civil War history — and somehow that energy still lingers in the quiet corners and worn textures of the town.. we also visited some local businesses downtown as well.

We grabbed a few shots along the way (and yeah… a couple of those “you had to be there” moments), and we’ll be sharing some of our favorites here.

If you’re nearby, come hang out with us this Saturday at the Iuka Spring Market hosted by IDEA (Iuka Development & Economic Association) at Jay Bird Park from 9AM–2PM. Good vibes, local vendors, and one of those easygoing mornings you don’t realize you needed. Maybe one day we can explore some of those places more in detail some day if you know what I mean… 👻

We’ve got galaxies in our hands… but somehow we stopped looking at the sky. We scroll past sunsets.
Walk past trees without noticing the way the light hits them.
Sit inside while the world outside is quietly putting on a masterpiece… every single day.

There’s a whole universe out there that doesn’t need a filter, a screen, or a signal. Just your attention and the wild part? It’s been there the whole time… waiting on you to look up.

Turn off the illusion for a minute.
Step outside. Breathe it in.Wonder isn’t gone… it’s just been ignored.
