Grieving mamas: join us for a candle making workshop at Fire Doll Studio in Champaign, IL on 11/16 from 1-2:30 pm! We’ll be guided in making our own 8 oz. soy wax candles from start to finish, including a custom scent blend.

We are so thankful for CU Medical Moms: The Good/Hard Life — a beautiful community of local moms navigating the unexpected with courage, honesty, and hope. 💛

This group creates belonging and encouragement for moms raising children with disabilities or medical complexities through monthly gatherings, an active online community, and an annual retreat that offers true respite.

We’re honored to provide a scholarship for a mom to attend the upcoming retreat. ✨

Carle is hosting the annual Shining Light Infant Memorial Service will be taking place in the Forum at Carle Foundation Hospital. We will be remembering our babies along with thousands of others as we participate in the International Wave of Light, the annual worldwide lighting of candles at 7 p.m.

If you are unable to attend, you can register your child’s name for the reading of names which will take place during the ceremony.
