I myself have discovered mold in water bottles. This is not just true of yeti water bottles but many others

Take apart all parts of the water bottle to wash. Use brushes to get into tiny parts, especially if they have tiny holes in cap

I use a no plastic water bottle and take apart all parts when I wash!

I started regularly drinking green tea!
