🦶 Foot Health Awareness Month Spotlight 🦶

This week, we’re proud to highlight Dr. Taylor, a fellowship‑trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle care, who joined OrthoNY last fall. Working alongside his medical assistant, Julia, Dr. Taylor treats a wide range of conditions including ankle fractures, arthritis, flatfoot and deformities, heel pain, bunions, and sports‑related injuries.

His goal is simple: to help patients get back to moving comfortably and confidently. Outside the clinic, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and their dog, Hank.

✨ Care Champion of the Week ✨

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Rachel Walsh, PA-C as our Care Champion of the Week!

A Capital District native, Rachel grew up in Niskayuna, New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at SUNY Geneseo in 2019. During that time, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician on campus and as a Patient Care Technician at a local hospital. Rachel went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. She joined OrthoNY in August 2022 and works as part of the team alongside Dr. Scordino.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and playing soccer.

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Justina Mueller, PA-C as our Care Champion of the Week!

Justina relocated to the Capital Region from Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2012. She later earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Physician Assistant Studies in 2017 and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She joined OrthoNY in 2018 and works alongside James Alfandre, MD in both the clinic and operating room.

When not at work, Justina enjoys traveling for medical mission trips, playing volleyball with friends, and spending time with her family.
