Compliance and privacy aren't a backup plan anymore.

They are a deliberate, high-value career strategy.

And the salaries are proving it.

Here's what most people aren't paying attention to yet β€” every health system deploying AI tools needs someone who understands the governance requirements, the regulatory guardrails, and the liability exposure that comes with it.

That person can have a HIM background. A revenue cycle background. A coding audit background.

The problem isn't that these roles don't exist. It's that the job titles are scattered β€” "340B Compliance Analyst," "Director of Compliance Technology," "Research Regulatory Compliance Manager" β€” and if you're not searching for them specifically, you're missing entire categories of roles your background already qualifies you for.

40+ roles across every experience level are live on Blossom right now.
Remote, hybrid, and onsite.
Entry through Director.

Before you apply to a single one β€” know your resume score.

40+ healthcare organizations are actively hiring Epic Analysts right now β€” and sponsoring the certification after you start.

Somewhere along the way, the myth spread that you had to be Epic certified before you could apply.

That myth is costing people interviews.

Here's what's on the board this week at Blossom Careers:

πŸ’° Epic Manager Revenue Cycle β€” $130K–$167K/yr
πŸ’° Epic Clinical Analyst Level I, II, III, or IV β€” $76K–$148K/yr
πŸ’° Sr Epic Applications Systems Analyst (ClinDoc/Orders) β€” $68K–$123K/yr
πŸ’° Professional Billing – Coding/Education Specialist β€” $64K–$115K/yr
πŸ’° EMR Analyst II – Epic Research β€” $81K–$104K/yr
πŸ’° Revenue Integrity CDM Analyst β€” $76K–$107K/yr
πŸ’° Epic Beaker Clinical Analyst β€” $50–$77/hr
πŸ’° Epic Cadence Analyst β€” $48–$73/hr
πŸ’° Epic Analyst II – Cadence, HIM, Healthy Planet β€” $35–$52/hr
πŸ’° Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst β€” $30–$52/hr

more on the board

Modules actively hiring: Willow, Cadence, Beaker, HIM, ClinDoc, MyChart, Optime, Radiant, and more.

Here's the part people miss, though.

Finding the role is step one.

A lot of people get excited, fire off their standard resume... and hear nothing back.

That's not bad luck.
That's the ATS filtering you out before a human ever sees your name.

Before you apply to a single one of these roles β€” run your resume through Blossom's resume scorer.

It tells you your ATS score and shows you exactly where your keywords need to be.

Know your shot before you take it.

The sponsorship is there.
The salary is there.

Make sure your resume is ready.

There's a reason why some senior coders don't want you to know this...

Some hospitals WILL hire you as a medical coder before you're certified.

And I'm spilling every single bean in this 30-minute video. No holding back. ⬇️

These opportunities have existed for YEARS.

Some people want them to stay hidden.

Why? Because the moment you know where to find them β€” the playing field levels out.

I'm pulling up the actual job postings.
Showing you the salary ranges.

Walking you through how to score your resume BEFORE you apply.

And breaking down exactly what these employers are looking for in a pre-certified candidate.

If you've been told to

➑️ Wait until you're certified to start applying...
➑️ No one will hire you without experience...
➑️ ALL companies want 3-5 years of experience...

Somebody wasn't being honest with you...OR you've never seen them yourself, so you don't believe they exist!

Real talk.

Comment UPSKILL and I’ll send you the list. 🌸

There is no set standard for getting into Health IT.

Read that again.

No single degree. No single certification. No one-size-fits-all path.

One company wants IT certifications.
Another just wants an IT-related degree.
And another? They just want to see that you’ve used the EHR system.

Check off ONE box β€” and you’re in the running.

So why are you waiting?

I worked in this industry for 7 years before I had a degree or a certification.

No excuses πŸ˜„

The only thing standing between you and a Health IT role right now is knowing where to look and what to build.

That’s why I put together a list of 25+ free and low-cost IT courses specifically for healthcare professionals trying to break into or level up in Health IT.

↳ Epic analyst roles
↳ Health IT implementation
↳ EHR end-user experience
↳ Revenue cycle technology

No fluff.
No $10K bootcamps.

Just courses that actually move the needle.

Comment REMOTE, and I'll send you the link to the job board and career hub where the full strategy lives β€” including the referrals section where you can post opportunities and get paid for referring people in.

Nobody talks about this strategy. At some point, you have to start asking yourself…
What am I NOT doing?

Because the strategy that could change everything for your job search has been sitting right under your nose the whole time.

Most people see a job posting and apply ASAP ( usually skipping resume scoring).
Then they wait.
And wait.

And wonder why they never hear back.

Here's what I've been teaching my 1:1 clients for years...

FISA - Find, Introduce, Share, and ASK!!!

Find someone who already works in that exact department at that exact organization.
Introduce yourself.
Share your resume.
Ask if they'd be willing to be listed as your referral β€” and if they think you're a fit, they'll say yes.

That one move takes you from an anonymous applicant in a stack of hundreds… to a name a hiring manager actually hears out loud.

It's not guaranteed.
But it gives you a real edge over everyone who just hit submit and moved on.

And if you're not job searching right now?

This works the other way too.

If your organization pays referral bonuses β€” and some pay anywhere from $2,500 to $10,000 depending on the role β€” you can post those opportunities and list yourself as the referrer.

We have an entire referrals section inside Blossom built specifically for this.

The strategy is there.
The roles are there.

The only question is whether you're going to use it.

And because you're going to ask β€” here's how Epic certification actually works:

You cannot just "sign up" for Epic certification.

There's no course you can take.
No class you can pay for.
No test you can schedule on your own.

Epic only trains employees of healthcare organizations that are already using their system β€” period.

The only way in is to get hired by an organization willing to sponsor your training... or get hired by Epic directly.

That's it.
Those are your two options.

So if an Epic role is your goal, your resume needs to clearly show:

➑️ Your end-user experience with Epic or another EHR system
➑️ Your technical skills β€” IT, analytics, systems, workflows
➑️ Any healthcare or technical education you already have

Show those three things, and you put yourself in a position to be hired by a company that will invest in your certification.

The right resume opens doors.
Strategy secures the position. πŸ”₯

Someone asked me if there are internship opportunities in HIM and Health IT.

The answer is yes β€” and they're remote. ⬇️

On Blossom, there's an entire section of the job board dedicated to internship and externship opportunities across:

- Epic & active analyst roles
- Medical coding
- Data analytics & data quality
- Research roles

Paying $20–$40/hr. Zero prior experience required. You just need to be enrolled in a qualifying program and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

If your school requires you to find your own internship or externship β€” this is exactly where you should be looking.

But here's what I need you to know:

These don't sit long. The longest we typically see them stay posted is about a week.
So if you're watching, watch closely.

And if you're entry-level but not in a program β€” don't skip this section. Make sure you're also checking the zero-to-one years of experience tab. Same urgency applies.

Now β€” if you have 3+ years of experience, a degree, or a certification?
This is not your hourly range anymore.

If someone still in school can pull $20–$35/hr with zero experience, you with 3, 5, even 7 years behind you should not still be sitting in that same bracket.
That's not humility β€” that's leaving money on the table.

Know your market value.
Act accordingly.
