In the face of a pandemic, it can seem like striving for happiness should be the least of your priorities. It's pretty important, though. Psychological resilience is the ability to use positive emotions to cope with and recover from negative events. Figuring out the small things to be grateful for when it seems like everything is falling apart can help you bounce back and be a more effective problem solver and support for the people around you.

While it's true there are benefits to morning and evening workouts, the most important part is that you are integrating exercise into your day. Whether it's midday runs or midnight abs, the best time to workout is whenever it works for you.

A build-up of cholesterol, called atherosclerosis, can narrow arteries. In atherosclerosis, plaques form and cause restriction of blood flow and can lead to increased risk of heart attack or stroke. Luckily cholesterol can be lowered with medication, exercise and a diet of reduced saturated and transfats and increased fiber. Exercise is important for mental and physical health, so despite pandemic restrictions, we recommend finding a way to exercise safely. If exercising outside, we recommend wearing a face covering, especially when within ten feet of another person. Being outdoors dramatically lowers your chance of a COVID-19 infection, but it is still important to wear a mask when in close proximity to other people. The ideal places to exercise are non-crowded trails or parks where you have enough space to workout comfortably. Try out different times of day to see when there are the fewest number of people out. In a jam, head back inside for core exercises. Read more on how to assess the risk of an activity: https://blog.goforward.com/how-to-assess-the-risk-of-an-activity-78b6570245e0
