My best friend Terri challenged me to a knit off. Yes, it’s a hat. The pattern is Hakea hat by Ambah O’Brien. It is available on Ravelry. We both have taken breaks to tink, but we are making progress. Here is an earlier picture. There is a hole in the twisted ribbing I need to mend before blocking. Sigh.....

Here is another version I made of the Sockhead hat. I used a skein of Opal sock yarn from my stash. At this point all my projects are mostly stash yarns!

I am in a hat making mode. This pattern is Sockhead Hat by Kelly McClure and it is free on ravelry. I added the pom pom. This is my third one!

Hard to believe that 4 years have gone by since my last post! Here is that puppy now. Remí is now 4 also. She tends to stay away from my knitting though. She likes to chew up stuffed toys.

I am extremely slow to answer at this point, however I’d love for you to share what you’re crafting! I just finished a couple of hats. Nothing fancy, just tv knitting. Of course all knitting is now tv knitting! I’ll share soon.

Almost finished knitting my Benton project. I'm on the last few rows of the second sleeve. Next up, blocking and assembly. Then, the big question, will it fit or will it look awful on me?

Busy knitting! This was my last project. I'm currently working on a pullover sweater. I'm also taking Spanish 101 and ASL 101 as well as continuing my volunteering as an Animal Assisted Therapist with children. There are 2 new puppies in the house. One we've had almost a year now, Winnie, and the other one just 2 weeks. She is a boxer puppy and we are fostering her.

To our knitting moms; best to just keep a project in there. Right?? LOL
