Hello, my brother and I both suffer from Familial Adenomatous Polyposis Syndrome and had most of our digestion system removed due to cancerous polyps, my brother and I have now out lived our father by 24 years and I'm 54 now, Today my mother starts her treatment with Palo Verde Cancer center in Payson for a cancerous lympnodes on or near her carotid artery on her neck, please take great care of her as I know you all will, I am so thankfull for your services here in payson, God blessed you all and have a great day!

June is National Cancer Survivors Month. Cancer survivor is anyone diagnosed with cancer from the moment of diagnosis for the remainder of their life. Lets celebrate life during this month....and always!


FDA has approved many different immune therapies for treatment of bladder cancer- metastatic or locally advanced. These drugs, also called checkpoint inhibitors, work by “releasing the brakes” on the immune system, which allows immune cells to attack tumors. May is also Bladder Cancer Awareness month. Bladder cancer is the fifth most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S.
Over 79,000 new cases of bladder cancer are expected to be diagnosed in 2017.
More than 16,000 people will die from the disease this year alone.One in 42 people will be diagnosed with bladder cancer during their lifetime. Stay tuned to learn about new drug approvals for bladder cancer this month.


May is Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer. It affects more than 3.3 million Americans annually. In fact, the incidence of skin cancer is greater than breast, prostate, lung, and colon cancer combined. So let's be aware and get screened with regular skin examinations and don't forget the sunscreen.

Alcohol and cancer- Is there a link between type of beverage and cancer risk?
The amount of alcohol consumed over time, not the type of alcoholic beverage, seems to be the most important factor in raising cancer risk. American Cancer Society recommends that people who drink alcohol limit their intake to no more than 2 drinks per day for men and 1 drink a day for women.

No Safe Level of Smoking

No safe level of smoking. Patients who even averaged less than one cigarette per day over their lifetime had nine times the risk of dying from lung cancer than never smokers. People who consistently smoked an average of less than one cigarette per day over their lifetimes had a 64 percent higher risk of earlier death than people who never smoked. 02/09/2017
