Stud muffin Huey is a 5 and a half year old neutered male American Pit Bull Terrier. He is one of four dogs our trainers took for rehabilitation after 65 dogs were seized from a fighting ring in Tennessee. Huey was part of "Operation Broken Chain" -- a large scale rescue effort led by the amazing Animal Rescue Corps. He bares the scars of his past on his body, but he lives in the present and is enjoying everything his new life has to offer him with puppy-like enthusiasm. Huey is absolutely comical and keeps us laughing at his antics. He lives for toys and having fun in all of the ways he's discovered since his rescue. Huey is working on his dog social skills and shows great potential. He's had many successful off-leash play sessions, and goes on group walks with other dogs with no problems. Huey is a fun-loving, attentive, affectionate boy who has some basic obedience training. He is also crate trained.
