Long Hair, Short Hair… Do what makes you feel your best at any age!

At 60 I’ve always cut my hair short not because society tells me to, but because that how I feel my confident best… and now that’s why I’m growing my hair out too!

That’s the FANTASTIC thing about midlife it is OUR time!

It’s really not about the length of the hair but knowing ourselves better and choosing how we want to show up as our best and most vibrant self!

What I had to unlearn as a pharmacist in wellness! 💖

I had to jump on the 2016-2026 trend and as I started sharing as The Fulfilled Pharmacist about 10 years ago which was also the time I entered menopause.

Here are the shifts as a pharmacist in wellness that I personally incorporate into my own life.

✨I was trained to learn about medications. Yes, medication is important but those lifestyle changes that are recommended at the pharmacy are equally or more important! Incorporating movement , rest , sleep , removing inflammatory foods are an important part of feeling my best.

✨I don’t want medication as a bandaid. Prevention is key for me and the basis of everything I do to age healthy and vibrantly. Whether that be taking an Omega 3 for cardiovascular and brain health or reducing sugar for disease prevention as well.

✨Aging is not just about our bodies. Mindset is everything. An ageless attitude keeps me moving forward in accomplishing health goals and any other goal that comes my way. I like to stay open to new possibilities and say YES before No.
