Immediate results are not final results. Once healed, swelling typically decreases by 15–30%, revealing a softer, more natural look 🤍
Why swelling happens:
1️⃣ The poke itself – injections are a form of trauma, so your body responds with inflammation. This usually settles within 48–72 hours.
2️⃣ Lidocaine in the filler – included for comfort, but it can temporarily cause vasodilation and added swelling. This is short-lived, so don’t panic.
3️⃣ The product – hyaluronic acid–based fillers attract water, which contributes to early fullness.
All of this is completely normal in the first few days after treatment. Give your lips time to heal — patience is part of the process ✨
