I have had many CPR classes over the years but was never told this . . . Have you ever thought about it ❤️🤔

When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do then?

A really good post that can't be shared often enough:

1. Take a 2 minute break and read this: Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.

2. You are really tired and frustrated. All of a sudden you have chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like you are being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.

3. Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it...

4. Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.

5. How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

6. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.

7. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs 🫁 and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment.

8. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.☝🏻

9. FOR WOMEN 👭: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

It’s ok, to not be ok. 💝 Life brings us challenges. Collectively, we are traversing a lot of pain, isolation, separation, and division. It is the conditioning and program we grew up in, to ‘be good’, be quiet, do what you’re told. In the process shutting down more and more of who we were authentically born to be.

What we get to realize is that it is possible to create beauty from the pain and to move beyond it.

The light that you be in the world, makes a difference. Thank you for being you. I am going to keep dancing and shining my light with you.

Though we all have shadow (or darkness) patterns within. It’s time to address these.

We are in this together…as we have collective light and shadow too.

I too have had deep pains of depression and grief from substantial losses, and helplessness over others choices. Don’t give up if you are in it…and choose to dance with me if you’d like.

Are you hiding from your pain? It is time to acknowledge and feel it. When you resist pain, it shows up in your body and can shut down your emotions, being a source of disconnection in your life. It can also be a cause of excess stress and dis-ease in your body.

Acknowledging that you, and I, have to be willing to feel the pain and lows of life, to heal.

I have experienced the mental concealing. Holding back my pain. Being a lone wolf. Not speaking from my heart and biting my tongue. Meeting others expectations, to have them reflect to me a deep seated abandonment pattern that I needed to come to terms with.

Self abandonment occurred when I followed other’s lead, trusting that they had my back. Sometimes compromising my own safety. People pleasing.

It is a painful experience that I have been blessed to help myself - and others to move beyond.

Are you building these kinds of walls around your heart to ‘protect’ you? This equates to creating a prison within your body that keeps you from your joy, love, and connection to others. Will you choose to feel it to heal it? The first step is acknowledging the pain and taking responsibility for it —and your heart.

Being empathic, what I have learned is the need to create good boundaries and to find what enlivens my heart and soul. Dance and movement is essential to move these patterns and pain through the body.

Praying that those who are hurting find their way to the victory and freedom that awaits beyond their pain and suffering. Embracing the gift of you within. 💝✨

Today was the mid point of a 5 day journey to ‘Reclaim Calm: Reset and Regulate Your Nervous System. In a week, we are set to begin a 7 Week Experience To Remember Your True You’. It will be a time of creating safety within your body, releasing yourself from the pain, and turn your wounds into wisdom.
