Dr. Chris Goettl is a board-certified interventional radiologist specializing in minimally invasive treatments for liver cancer, musculoskeletal pain, and complex vascular diseases. After earning his degree from the University of Arizona and completing his fellowship at Stanford, he became a leader in the field. Dr. Goettl is the CEO of Vascular and Interventional Partners and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, where he mentors students and residents. He also directs the Interventional Procedural Simulation Program, training the next generation of medical professionals.

Uterine fibroids are a common but sometimes very symptomatic problem for many women. At ViP, we offer a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure that blocks the blood vessels inside the fibroids, causing them to die and shrink. This is an excellent alternative to more invasive procedures, like a hysterectomy or myomectomy, allowing women a dramatic improvement in fibroid-related symptoms without surgery, removal of their uterus, or significant downtime.
