A Place to Thrive is expanding, and we are currently seeking passionate, mission-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors.
At A Place to Thrive, our mission is to empower individuals of all abilities through inclusive wellness, connection, and accessible opportunities that enhance quality of life. We believe that every body deserves access to movement, support, and community—and we are building that every day here in Arizona.
As we continue to grow our impact, we are looking for board members who are:
• Passionate about inclusion, accessibility, and community impact
• Excited to support individuals with disabilities and their families
• Interested in contributing their skills, ideas, and network
• Committed to helping a nonprofit grow and thrive

This March, A Place to Thrive is partnering with inclusive community organizations across the Phoenix metropolitan area to bring FREE adaptive movement experiences to individuals with special needs and their families.

Each week, we’ll host a movement session focused on supporting strength, regulation, confidence, and connection through inclusive activities such as:
✨ Inclusive yoga & movement
💪 Functional fitness
💛 Social & emotional wellness

These sessions are designed for children, teens, and adults with special needs, and families are welcome. All ability levels are encouraged to participate.

📍 4 Events, 4 Community Partners, 100% Free
📅 Locations and registration will be announced weekly.
⚠️ Spots are limited and registration will be required.

Wellness is not one-size-fits-all—especially for individuals with disabilities. At A Place to Thrive, we take a holistic, individualized approach that supports the whole person, not just one area of health.

Our Adaptive Wellness for All Abilities program focuses on four essential pillars:
🍎 Nutrition – practical, accessible nutrition support
🏃 Physical Activity – adaptive movement for strength & confidence
🤝 Social Engagement – meaningful connection & community
❤️ Emotional Support – coping skills, mindfulness, and empowerment

Each program is tailored to the individual or group, honoring their abilities, needs, and environment—because everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

As we close out our very first year at A Place to Thrive, our hearts are full of gratitude. 💫
This year was about planting seeds—building a foundation rooted in inclusion, accessibility, and opportunity for individuals of all abilities.

We are deeply thankful for everyone who supported us, believed in our mission, and walked alongside us on this journey. Because of you, we are growing into a community where individuals of all abilities can truly thrive.

As we look ahead, we are incredibly excited for what’s to come in the new year—expanding our impact, deepening connections, and creating even more meaningful opportunities together. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to continue thriving with you in the year ahead.

🌻 We’re almost there!

Our Sensory Greenhouse Tunnel at Mo’Lovin Farm is nearly complete — a beautiful, inclusive space for sensory exploration, calm, and connection. The final step is installing the tarp, and we’re just $500 away from finishing this project!

Every donation helps us create a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment for children and individuals of all abilities to thrive through nature-based learning and hands-on experiences. Donations are tax-deductible.
