Dr. Lamb was born and raised in Utah. He attended the University of Utah, graduating magna cm laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in medical biology. He then moved to Portland, Oregon where he received his dental degree at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. He graduated with honors and upon completion he was inducted into the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Lamb is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
After completing his dental training he was accepted into a six year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his time at Mayo Clinic Dr. Lamb earned a medical degree from Mayo Medical School, completed an intern year in general surgery and completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Lamb was trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal to esthetic facial surgery. He can also diagnose and treat facial injuries, facial pathology and perform a full range of dental implant procedures and bone grafting. In addition, Dr. Lamb received comprehensive training in the administration of general anesthesia and intravenous sedation.
