If someone committed r*pe years ago and the truth comes out today, the passage of time does not erase what happened. A calendar turning pages does not rewrite history, and silence does not transform violence into innocence.

When survivors finally find the courage to speak, it is often after years of fear, shame, or being unheard. Their voice arriving later does not make the harm smaller.

Actions carry weight that time alone cannot remove.

If someone rap*d another person in 2012, that reality does not expire with the years that followed.

Time may pass, but accountability should never disappear with it.

Dinner this evening. Turkey patty, with a baked sweet potato and sauteed asparagus. Friggin DELICIOUS. Full of vitamins, and the turkey should help me sleep tonight. Trying to remember that inner health is important.

Finished Dark Psychology by Zac Adams today, with plans to read the references in the future... Was a fantastic, but sickening read. Took me a very long time to finish as I've cried every few pages the entire book. However, if you're on a healing journey I highly recommend reading it. It's well written and highly informative. I'd recommend all my empaths become better informed on the dark triad as a household rule. Knowing is half the battle.

Hello beautiful souls.

This isn't a Ted Talk but it may come off as one.

Healing doesn't always look like going out and finding a new crowd to support you. In fact, most often, the best healing is done entirely alone. Just you sitting with yourself and becoming comfortable with your own energy; accepting the parts of you that you were once ashamed of; developing a deep sense of knowing in who you are, so that you're harder to shake.

Often those that need a whole crowd to validate their experiences, choices, and mechanisms of control are the ones not actually healing. Those that try to silence the truth and manipulate the facts are often the ones with the most to lose.

We don't get to play God in other people's lives. We may be called by some unseen force to help others, but remember to trust your inner knowing for when it's time to stop and let them. Let them misunderstand. Let them fight a battle with themselves while believing you're the opponent. Let them.

I hope that anyone that comes across this that is healing on their own from egregious acts committed against them nobody was ever truly sorry for finds their peace. It is out there. It often takes a long time to find, and if you've been stalked and harassed in the process it can seem like it'll never come. It does. Let them watch you rise. Curated chaos just to prove a point holds no weight in the true realm of judgement.

I wish you all healing in the deepest form. This world needs less lost souls and more whole people. May you find what you're looking for. 🖤
