Pregnancy comes with regular check-ups, but after childbirth, many moms are left to navigate recovery on their own. The first weeks are full of surprises: heavy bleeding, pelvic floor challenges, mood swings, sleepless nights, and more. Yet support is minimal, leaving many women feeling unseen and unsupported.

Postnatal complications can impact both body and mind, from incontinence and abdominal separation to postpartum depression and breastfeeding struggles. Every new mom deserves care that meets her needs, not just the baby’s.

It’s time to rethink postpartum care, speak up, and ensure women get the guidance, attention, and support they truly need to thrive after birth.

Your baby’s taste buds are already at work, before they even take their first bite!

Studies show that flavors you eat in pregnancy (think sweet carrots or bitter kale) can make your little one react in the womb. Sweet tastes might bring a tiny smile, while bitter ones might get a scrunchy face. And the coolest part? Babies remember these flavors after birth, showing recognition and even preference for what they experienced before arrival.

So, if you want your mini-me to love their greens later on, your plate today could make all the difference.

What flavor couldn’t you stop craving while pregnant? Tell us below!

Busting Postpartum Myths, Mama!

There’s no shortage of myths about postpartum recovery—but not everything you hear is true! Let’s set the record straight on 5 common myths:

1️⃣ Myth: You should “bounce back” in a few weeks.
Truth: Every body heals at its own pace. Give yourself grace and focus on gentle care, not the timeline.

2️⃣ Myth: Postpartum bleeding should stop right away.
Truth: Lochia can last several weeks as your body heals. Light spotting is completely normal.

3️⃣ Myth: You can’t exercise until everything is “perfect.”
Truth: Gentle, doctor-approved activity can actually support recovery, mood, and energy levels.

4️⃣ Myth: Breastfeeding fixes everything.
Truth: Breastfeeding is amazing, but it doesn’t replace rest, hydration, and self-care for your body and mind.

5️⃣ Myth: Feeling emotional is a sign you’re “failing.”
Truth: Postpartum mood changes are common and normal. Talking about them and seeking support is a sign of strength.
