Excited to announce this group is starting back up again with some significant improvements 😁🙏🏼
Everyone will lose weight, but we are also going to be joined by my dear friend and sweet soul Milena Keratsinova. Milena is going to be leading us in yoga poses for stress relief, as well as how to loosen up before a workout and decompress after the workout 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
This women is incredible and has a fascinating life story. Every time I talk to her I completely lose myself in the conversation. I sometimes introduce her as “the worlds most interesting person” 😆🤗
She has a background in Engineering working as a Director of Operations but decided to pivot her career into Yoga and energy work, and holds a Level 1 healer certification through the school of Modern Mystery in London.
She can do so many things it’s hard to encapsulate her resume but her purpose for this 5 week class will be to take care of our physical bodies through yoga, but more importantly she will help the group set positive intentions, create a safe group environment for everyone to feel comfortable sharing, energetically clear the space of fear and self doubt and help us come together in a positive encouraging environment 🤍
I am absolutely thrilled she was open to joining us on the zoom calls and I think it will provide an incredible value for this new group ❤️
I had soooo much fun with the first group, and we were lucky in that most them already knew each other, but I also want to make sure the new group will have a similar closeness and continuity as weight physique transformation can have a highly emotional element to it.

Everyone stop and check your labs!! This post highlights sodium levels. Especially important for those on a fitness journey!
There’s usually a big difference between “normal” and “optimal.”
The difference is that you won’t be feeling your finest but you won’t know why because most conventional clinicians won’t educate or flag your “normal” labs as a problem.
Drawing labs and having them reviewed by someone who understands lab ranges where you FEEL your best is extremely empowering and often clears up a lot of mystery people have dealing with in regard to their health.
Let know what labs you want more info on and I will create posts accordingly 🤗

Give me your “normal” labs and I’ll show you the world of functional medicine.
Labs can tell you so much if you know what to look for.
I’ve learned an exponential amount in the past two years regarding blood work interpretation (and not done yet!) Mostly due to Susan Allen’s amazing course, and also from working for Dr. Ramaley .
The thing I want people to understand is that just because you may be in the “normal” range does not mean that you are in the optimal range. Thyroid labs are a great example of this.
📢 if your Free T4 and Free T3 are normal but not optimal you’re going to have a harder time both building muscle and losing body fat.
Most practitioners won’t take a second glance if your FT4 is within the normal range, and good luck getting them to draw your FT3!
But for optimal physical performance and physique change lots of functional med practitioners like to see these around 1-1.5, and 3.3-4.5 respectively.
📣Alk Phos is a value I’ve also got my eye on for athletes. When you are on the low end of normal this can mean you have insufficient stores of zinc and magnesium (other nutrients as well, but these are the common ones).
Athletes and people who workout regularly are often low on magnesium!! If you are low on magnesium that is going to interfere with your ability to recover from exercise and hence won’t be maximizing your gains . (Is there an emoji for small sad muscles? 🔎🧐💪🏽)
To get the most out of your fitness journey you need to know what your labs are saying. I will not diagnose anything, but I can provide valuable insight into what your body is saying. Labs are best interpreted within as much context and background as possible.

Happiness for me is seeing my clients reach their goals 🤍
These are just some of the more recent comments, I wish I had been saving everything from the start and compiled everything for when I need a mood boost 🤗
I absolutely LOVE what I do and I hope that comes through in every client email or text I send 🤍🤍🤍
My mission is to help people reach their physique goals but also to help them feel their best while doing it.
Sometimes that means working on underlying health problems that are stalling progress.
Tracking macros and getting the exercise is the majority, but some of the finer points are checking labs, using appropriate supplements, and getting adequate SLEEP.
Coaches are usually told not to work harder than their clients, but I often feel like I work harder than my clients 😂. I do have the occasional super star who shows me up in a big way, but I do try really hard to give more than I get.
And the end of the day I can only provide guidance, can’t do the work for you, but I do my best to get you to your goals.
Creating goals and bringing them into fruition creates vitality like none other!

Pre-Christmas and post Christmas weight gain ➡️
I gained seven pounds in about 7 days 😅 but according to the InBody 5 of those lbs were skeletal muscle gain. My body fat % actually went down even though I was eating unlimited food and not tracking. And yes some of this gain was water weight.
I’ve been working out hard but I think what I actually needed was ⬆️ carbs and ⬆️ rest…(duh).
But coaching yourself is way harder than coaching other people 😒… like take my own advice??? Nah.
Even if the InBody isn’t 100% accurate, I do feel like I gained muscle so I’m pretty excited about that.
This year I’m going to make sure to take my rest days which I am now going to call “growth days” and I will be eating more carbs, 🍚🍎🥔
I do have to fit into my wedding dress so I am a little nervous to change my composition too much, but I doubt I would even be able to hulk out past the point of alternations but what a story if I did 😂
Literally “new year new me” by a quantifiable 5 lbs 😀

Geared toward those who struggle with over eating and binge eating 💕
If you’re an under eater this probably does not apply to you 🥰
The holidays are a tough time for people actively trying to lose weight and reach their fitness goals.
It’s not that one day out if the year will set you back, it’s when one day turns into a week, turns into a month and before you know it you’ve completely given up and wondering why it’s so hard to lose weight.
If you’ve been with me for a while you know I never require or encourage my clients to track macros on holidays. But I do expect you to get back on track and not completely give up.
I have a client who is writing a book on meditation so she really resonated with using affirmations and meditation to reach her weight goal. Turns out there is plenty of research documenting the use of meditation for weight loss 🧘‍♀️
Wanted to share with a wider group as these have also been very helpful for me when I’m feeling “bingy” (scientific term 😉)

Lots of people say “if you have a pulse you have a parasite”
Which I believe is true, but not all parasites cause problems. The main thing is to be aware of the problems they can cause so you can stay ahead of these buggers.
I’ve actually had quite a few people do parasites cleanses some can see visible 🪱 evidence in the toilet, some cannot.
Lucky people will find a parasite on a GI map stool test, but most won’t show up in stool testing.
If you suspect parasites I can send you an assessment form, but most likely you’ll need to do a parasite cleanse and see if you feel better after.
Leading the way in parasite cleansing is the company Cell Core. I’ve had great success with their products being just as effective if not more effective at some of the leading drugs for parasites.
Message me if interested in a parasite cleanse kit, these are stonge products so it’s required to order through a practitioner. Or go to my website for more info.
