Challenge your core!❤️‍🔥

Don’t mind me, getting wild here with a bunch of variations, ha! TBH, sometimes instead of performing strict sets I improvise like this until I just can’t take the burn any longer…. Lol😂

With that said, a good range could be something like 3 sets of 15, or 4 sets or 10 reps… Meet yourself where you’re at with core strength and gradually progress. ;)

Form check 👇✅

Keep shoulders relaxed and down (think engaging your lats instead of sinking)

Keep back pressed into Bosu (or whatever back rest on your equipment)

Resist using momentum/ swinging. Think more slow and controlled movement.

Tap into the sensation of pulling your abdominals in, rather than pushing out.

Remember to breathe! Phew… ;)

Did anyone start working on a good resolution? I’m trying to narrow down a couple things to focus on…Ya know, just because! 🧘‍♀️🪄🙃

I’m pretty busy these days, so time’s flying by… Working, training, starting up dance rehearsals again, and all the other usual life things. It’s in motion!💯

I love a fun side by side comparison, don’t you? I saw these pics close together in my camera roll and had to do it.😜

Looking at these very similar images reaffirmed my belief that repetition doesn’t have to be boring. Understanding how to practice something well is a skill of its own. I remember learning at a very young age that there’s no such thing as being bored…There’s always something more you can learn, explore, fine tune, create… and that’s up to you to embrace as a practice. ❤️💯

I like to change up what equipment I use, play with movement dynamics (such as: tempo, force, etc), use a variety of stances, incorporate different planes of motion, and so on and so on! 💡💯😆

I’m a choreographer, dancer, and former martial artist. My eclectic background in movement translates into how I approach fitness training. I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned to help others.

I try my best to move through life with optimism, passion, and integrity. Like a lot of us, I’ve been through my own personal hardships, and because of that I feel grateful to have an inner resilience that keeps me moving forward in life. Everyday is a new opportunity to grow! I choose to lead with my heart, focus on what I can control, and stay humble. Day of the deadlift! 😁🤖🎃💀🦾💜

Well, this happened, lol… I lifted 155lbs :)

I usually train sets/reps with deadlifts, and rarely barbell, but I had fun working on this and busting out a heavier lift for a good cause! Every pound lifted is a .05 cent donation to Youth Care and matched by Bonus matching if you do it in costume! 👏

There’s been a running joke about how I’m very C3PO like in how I move through my day, picking things up, etc. haha… so I put together a last minute gold outfit and channeled my inner android self. 😂🤷‍♀️

TY for the assist Plus he gave me a couple great tips on how I can improve- I’m definitely more comfortable with other equipment, so my form needs some work with barbell. Maybe one day I’ll hit 200!
