Here are some facts that stood out to me👇

Canola oil has practically taken over as the food processing industry’s oil of choice
because it is extremely inexpensive to grow and harvest.

It is also very easy to grow, due to its genetic modifications and the fact that insects won’t go near it.

In any cold fighting arsenal, you need something to treat that viral infection of your lungs and airways, right?
Let me share with you a homemade solution that is free from chemicals, preservatives, and dyes to help you combat your cough as well as reduce inflammation in the throat and help your body fight at least five times faster than over-the-counter cough syrups!🙌🏻

Ingredients include:

•Pineapple juice contains a mixture of enzymes called bromelain, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties and help
soothe the throat and dissolve mucus.

•Olive oil will help you combat your cough as well as reduce reduce inflammation in the throat.

•Honey works as a cough suppressant. Research has suggested that honey is as effective as dextromethorphan, a common ingredient in over-the-counter cough medication.

•Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin. Capsaicin is a compound that research shows has pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and expectorant (cough-producing) properties

•Sea salt is high in Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, and Sodium.

Since hubby told me these were better than store bought than It’s best to save it here and share:)

Homemade turkey burgers!

16 oz. 93% lean ground turkey,
1 Tbsp plain dried breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt, or as desired
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp (heaping) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (heaping) onion powder
2 Tbsp light mayonnaise
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup baked chopped into tiny pieces bacon
Small cubes of cheddar cheese
A couple TBSP of water

Mix everything well with hand.
Mold into patties about 1/2 in place on baking pan.
Freeze for at least 30min if cooking on grill.

About 7min each side depending on the girl you have.

You could also fry them on skillet.

Let’s talk about this soup!

It’s simple and easy and can give someone an idea of what to make for dinner:)

For base I am used water and chicken bouillon salt and pepper.

Sautéed a medium size onion with some carrot In butter and added some flour added some curry powder and paprika with crushed bay leaf.

Chopped some potatoes, added crushed millet. Brought to simmer until potatoes cooked through.

Added what I sautéed, handful of egg noodles and braised canned stew(tyshonka).

Brought all to simmer and turned heat off. 🤤😋

Add choice of greens like parsley, dill, green onion!👍🏻

Enjoy!🙌🏻

•Eat a variety of foods.
•Base your diet on plenty of foods rich in carbohydrates.
•Replace saturated with unsaturated fat.
•Enjoy plenty of fruits and vegetables.
•Reduce salt and sugar intake.
•Eat regularly, control the portion size.
•Drink plenty of fluids.
•Maintain a healthy body weight.
•Get on the move, make it a habit!
•Start now! And keep changing gradually.

What else would you add to this list?

I would say take a vitamin a day or drink at least 1 herbal cup of tea/day!:)

Easy homemade juice is on repeat!

Get a big pot of water more than 8cups. 4Tbsp of sugar (if using honey add only at the end)

Bring to boil
Add about 2 cups frozen berries of choice, I prefer the blended berry kind😋

Bring back to simmer and turn heat off.

Let sit overnight, strain in the morning and you got yourself some tasty juice!👍🏻
