The department held its 2020 Research Retreat on Wednesday, January 8. Located in the UW's SLU campus, faculty researchers and post-doctoral fellows gathered to advance the department's research mission. Carole Palmer, Associate Dean for Research in the UW iSchool, conducted a presentation titled ‘Got Data? Why, When and How to Share,’ and break-out groups focused on mentorship, methodologies, how to “bootstrap” an early research career and how best to use real-word evidence. Thank you to all who attended and made this retreat possible!
