➡️ Some studies show that older moms are at increased risk for postpartum depression—not because of their age, but because of the pressure and stigma that often come with that label.
➡️ And while physical recovery may take time, it’s not a given that you’ll have less energy or cope worse just because you had a baby later in life.

Welcome 2024!

Reflecting on the past year, while setting intentions for the year to come can help us lay an emotional foundation for new beginnings. 🌿 Although the year seems to have flown by, when we take a few minutes to journal/ reflect we realize that a lot has happened.  It’s worth it to take the time to enumerate the milestones we have accomplished, the challenges we have overcome, and the good habits we would like to take forward with us vs the ones we would rather leave behind. 🍂
