On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Evergreen Treatment Services honors the Indigenous Nations whose ancestral lands sustain our work and communities today.
ETS acknowledges that our clinics and outreach services operate across the unceded territories of the dxʷdəwʔabš (Duwamish), bəqəlšuɬ (Muckleshoot), dxʷsəq̓ʷəbš (Suquamish), Stl’pulmsh (Cowlitz), sqʷax̌sədabš (Squaxin), dxʷsqʷaliʔabš (Nisqually), and Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples.
These lands hold deep histories of care, stewardship, and resistance. We honor Indigenous peoples past and present, and reaffirm our responsibility to work toward healing, equity, and community well-being in the spirit of respect and reciprocity.
The map below shows the overlapping territories where ETS provides care. You can explore more about Indigenous land in this region at https://native-land.ca
