His Name Was Chance Gainer.
18 years old. 4.0+ GPA. Port St. Joe High School football player. A future full of promise.
On September 6, 2024, Chance collapsed on the field and died from sudden cardiac arrest, an undiagnosed heart condition that an ECG screening could have caught.
His death wasn't in vain. Florida became the first state to pass the Second Chance Act, requiring heart screenings for all student-athletes.
But here's the heartbreaking truth: the law exists, but communities don't have the resources to save lives yet.
No funding. No equipment. No trained staff.
We can't let another Chance be lost.
That's why we're here, bringing clinically validated technology, training, and sustainable infrastructure to schools across Florida.
Meet us at FAHP 2025, Booth #25. Let's talk about how we can protect Florida's young athletes together.
Let's finish what Chance started.
