Patients can’t wait around for life-changing genetic care. Congress must pass the Access to Genetic
Counselor Services Act so people on Medicare can access the care and guidance that genetic counselors
provide every day. WIGCA is joining the call to speak up, take action and show support. We urge you to do the

Registration is now open for the 2024 Wisconsin Genetics Exchange held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 8:30 am – 5:10 pm. The conference agenda is attached.
The conference is jointly planned by the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in partnership with the Wisconsin Genetic Counselors Association (WIGCA).

Registration
Registration is required for all participants. Registration deadline is September 26,2024
There is no registration fee. NSGC’s CEU application fee ($35) will be covered for the first 80 certified genetic counselors who register, request CEUs in this online registration, and attend the full conference (either in-person or virtually).

Continuing Education Credit
Application approvals are pending for 0.59 NSGC Category 1 CEU credits.

What is WIGCA?

Genetic Counseling is the process of helping people understand and adapt to the medical, psychological, and familial implications of genetic contributions to disease. Wisconsin Genetic Counselors Association (WIGCA) welcomes all genetic counselors, other allied professionals, and students in the state of Wisconsin to advocate for the advancement of the genetic counseling profession as well as to increase engagement with the communities in which we serve.
