🌍 Burnout: A Global Crisis Still Ignored in the US 🌍

In 2019, the World Health Organization officially recognized burnout as an occupational phenomenon in its International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). Yet here in the United States, nothing has changed. Workers struggling with chronic stress and exhaustion are still left to fend for themselves in a system that doesn’t acknowledge the toll of burnout.

Meanwhile, in Sweden, burnout (or “exhaustion disorder”) is recognized as a medical condition, offering workers the protections and support they need to recover and thrive. Why is the US so far behind?
