I need to know more weird facts!

*Also did you know that Koalas sleep 18-22 hours a day because eucalyptus leaves don't give them enough nutrition. Koalas are very picky eaters and rarely eat anything other than eucalyptus, which resonates with many autistic folks*

I've been having a lot of trouble getting things done this week and that's traditionally been a big trigger for me. I hold myself to a high standard and feel like I'm failing myself, my family, and my clients when I don't get everything done. And when I don't get everything done I feel "lazy" but then I remind myself

LAZINESS DOES NOT EXIST.

We don't and can't always get things done. And nor should we. If you're not getting things done, then check in with yourself. What's going on? What do you need? What haven't you gotten? What can you use to get unstuck?

You can get it done. Ultimately, you almost certainly will. But it's important to remember that you cannot shame yourself into doing better, long-term.

Take a breath. See what you need. And then you (and I) can get it done.
