KNOW YOUR REMEDIES: CHOCOLATE

As we are in the middle of the Easter weekend, with all the chocolate around us, I thought it was appropriate to talk about this remedy and then, of course, who didn't love the movie Chocolat?
This remedy is made from good quality dark Belgian chocolate.
It is often compared to Sepia, because it does have the irritability towards family members and it is worse during me**es, however in Chocolate there is an underlying need for affection and love, whereas Sepia simply wants to be left alone.
During the menstrual cycle there is often more craving for chocolate and sugary things and this remedy can help to curb that. In the same way, emotional eating can be helped by this remedy in both men and women. Emotional eating is about filling an emotional void and any psychologist will tell you how this will typically start in childhood and parental emotional neglect, real or perceived.
Still, there is no substitute for the real thing, when it comes to chocolate, so enjoy your Easter eggs!

Good news of the day: 10-year-old boy who suddenly developed type 1 diabetes at age 6 and needs insulin has responded positively to Carcinosin 30C once a week for the past month. Mom noted more stable blood sugars for about three days after a dose. We're increasing it to twice a week now. Quite interesting. Has anyone else here seen positive effects of homeopathy in type 1 diabetes?

As I sit reviewing the intake paperwork of a new patient, I’m reminded once again why I do this work.

There was a time when I was a child navigating a medical system that didn’t fully see me. That experience lives with me. And every time a parent trusts me to help guide their child’s case, I am reminded that I now get to be part of a different story.

Every child deserves to be truly seen and understood, no matter how complex their presentation may be.

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience a better quality of life, to gently unwind the layers of dysfunction within their system.

These children are not "broken". They do not need more suppression. They need thoughtful, individualized care that honors the full picture of who they are.

It is an incredible honor to do this work. I am deeply grateful to walk alongside these families.

Adult with a history of prostate cancer had a steadily rising PSA over the past year. His last reading before starting homeopathy was 0.11. Once PSA reaches 0.2, there is concern for recurrence and further investigation is typically recommended.
After beginning homeopathic treatment, his PSA dropped to 0.05 within three months.
