Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects millions of people — yet it’s often mistaken for acne or simple redness. Understanding the signs is key to managing it effectively.
Common symptoms include persistent redness and swelling, visible blood vessels, raised pink bumps, eye irritation, and in more advanced cases, skin thickening around the nose (known as rhinophyma). These signs often appear on the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead.
While rosacea can’t be cured, it can be managed with gentle skincare, daily sun protection, and awareness of your personal triggers.
Stay tuned for my next post — I’ll be sharing what can trigger rosacea and how to help keep flare-ups under control.
