Once again, I'm enormously grateful for the vision, organization and support of my dear friend and colleague Reiko Tomino sensei and the exceptional staff at 自然療法の国際総合学院 IMSI for bringing together such a wonderful group of many of Japan's leading practitioners of Aromatherapy and Acupuncture.

The weekend was full of learning on every level — the ethnobotany, chemistry, pharmacology and therapeutic energetics of some 25 Essential Oils including the most important fragrant volatiles and aromatic waters now produced by over 100 distilleries in what has become, in my humble opinion, the world's leading nation for advanced practitioner-led Essential Oil Therapy. 🙏🌿⚗️💧⛩️

Our very first Webinar was such a delight!
with students who shine a celestial light —
appropriate for the studies, wouldn't you say?
of all things stellar, and one's solar birthday...

The Midheaven in Pisces surely reflects
several Pisceans among us - we checked! –
while the Sun in the 11th House in Aries
echoes our studies of ancient Apothecaries:

for it makes a conjunction to Chiron, the Wounded Healer,
from the Greek myth about the Centaur-Teacher.
All in all, it was very 9th House, and with an informality
seen in the Moon's 9th House placement — guaranteeing an Aquarian conviviality.
