I start by applying color and texture to paper using oil paint with water. Each piece has its own voice and it is much like a conversation with what wants to be expressed. As with us all, each piece stands alone and is unique, yet are all held together with a unified theme of interconnection, inner vision and inner wisdom.

I am excited and a little Nervous!
Yesterday I launched a new section on my Substack publication called A Dreaming Orchard.
I created this space for me to write the story of the guides of the Cosmic Dreaming Lodge.
It is the next level and step in this project that began in 2020. As each of the now 9 guides have come into form, It has been a creative journey, fraught with harrowing initiations within the confines of my own perceived limitations. (๐ ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ณ๐ข๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ค, ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ธ!)

My process in making art is a journey in and of itself, and mirrors for me the process of life and the inner world unfolding. Everything spirals inward and outward continually. It is this process of life that I have chosen to reflect in the art that I produce
We live in a fractal universe. A fractal is a self-similar pattern that repeats. This pattern is seen throughout nature. It is the principle of As Above, So Below. If one considers a tree, you will see this principle in action. This pattern is everywhere and influences all of life. From the infinitude of the structure of the universe, the galaxies, the solar system the planets, etc., all the way down to the structures of the cells in our bodies, the molecules, atoms and beyond. We are all connected by a web that is unseen, yet can be experienced and felt.
I attempt to explore this topic of interconnection and the web in my work. I use different media to explore this web connection, the emotion, the feeling and the struggle in the process of connecting. My work is not limited to paper, paint, canvas, pencils, brushes. I work with my hands. I work with people, within their web known as the fascial system. As further example of connection and expansion I am formulating work with groups- leading experiential workshops in expression, creativity and healing connection within the container of sacred circle......stay tuned!
