Hey y’all…. I have some news.

It pains me (SO MUCH) to make this post.

As many of you know, and now for those who don’t know, our cute little studio was hit by a vehicle on February 16th. This accident has forced closure due to extensive damage/structural issues of the building.

At this point I am forced to cancel all future appointments for the time being. Please understand that I am so super sad about this news. If you have an appointment scheduled please be aware that it is canceled. If you’ve reached out about scheduling an appointment and I have not gotten back to you, I apologize.

Due to the extent of the damages to the building, we will be closed until further notice.

The goal is to be up and running again by the end of July.

While this situation is not ideal & causes much hardship, I know for sure the Lord has a plan ✝️🤍

Hey y’all, I’ve had a lot of people reaching out to ask, so I figured it may be simpler if I would give a little update on here.

YES, yesterday there was an accident at the business. A vehicle veered off the road and hit the building. Due to still being on maternity leave I was not in the building. From what I understand the tenant who lives upstairs was shaken up but okay and I have no update on the driver of the vehicle at this point in time other than the driver was taken to the hospital.

Unfortunately there was quite a bit of extensive damage to the building.

That is the only update I have as of now. Reopening plans were for the middle of March/beginning of April. I will keep everyone posted on if those dates are achievable as I know more.

Prayers go out to the driver of the vehicle. 🙏🏼

Please please please slow down on that stretch of road. Take the time to stop at the stop sign. It’s a busy area, lots of people, lots of homes.

Hey y’all! - A little update for today from Katie -

*Sidenote* I’m hoping to update more tomorrow when we have more in depth information on Katie & the twins.

From Katie - Sometimes life brings unexpected turns, and right now, I’m walking through one. Due to some major pregnancy complications, & DOCTORS orders, I’ll be stepping back from work until the twins make their arrival. I’m trusting God’s plan and leaning into faith and rest during this time.

This season looks different than I imagined, but I know His hand is in every detail — guiding, protecting, and preparing us for what’s ahead. I’m focusing on keeping these babies safe and healthy, as well as keeping myself safe and healthy. I’m so so so thankful for the incredible support, prayers, and kindness I’ve felt from all of you.

Your patience and understanding mean more than words. As all of you know I’m already itching to be able to return and continue serving you all when the time is right — hopefully with two healthy little blessings in my arms. 🎀

Until then, I’ll be taking it one day at a time. Please be patient and bare with me until I can get back to it. Those of you who know me, know that this is not at all what I had planned but unfortunately sometimes there are things that we just can not control in life and have to let it up to the big man upstairs. 🙌🏽

〰️ On a little more personal level, Dylan & I are currently down in Philly and have been away from our boys for a week now. (Forever grateful for the amazing family we have who stepped in while we can’t be there.) I had surgery last Wednesday on me and the twins, to hopefully try to correct some of the major issues going on. These issues really did happen overnight and made the twins extremely sick which in turn was also making me extremely sick. The surgery itself went as well as it could have. *For those who are interested, I would encourage you to research twin pregnancy and TTTS & TAPS.* We have a big scan tomorrow to see how much it helped or did not help and to discuss our next steps. Prayers are always appreciated as we figure out the next steps physically, emotionally, & financially. 〰️

We just wanted to take the time to reach out and say thank you all so much for all the kind, caring messages of love & support that we’ve been flooded with. It truly has been so heart warming and just amazing to see.
