We were so grateful to welcome the South BellaireFirst Methodist Church choir for their beautiful Christmas Cantata, “Let There Be Light.” Their voices filled the room and brought so much joy to our residents, it was truly a special afternoon shared together. 🎶✨

Snowball fights, hot chocolate, and plenty of laughs ❄️☕ Our residents had a blast getting into the holiday spirit, ending the fun with sweet snowball cakes and cozy cups of cocoa. Just another joyful afternoon spent together.

🎄 Holiday Resident & Family Meal at Shadyside Healthcare & Rehabilitation 🎄

There’s nothing more meaningful during the holiday season than being together with the people we love. This week, our facility was filled with warm smiles, great food, music, laughter, and the joy of families gathering around the table with our residents.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this special day one to remember. Seeing so many families reconnect, celebrate, and spend time with their loved ones is what the holidays are truly all about. ❤️

A huge shout-out to our amazing kitchen team, who prepared and served over 200 meals with incredible care and dedication. Your hard work made this celebration possible, and our residents felt every bit of it.

And thank you to our department heads and all the staff who jumped in to set up, serve, clean, coordinate, and bring this entire event to life. Events like these are possible because of your commitment to our residents and our community.

Our Shadyside team loved connecting with everyone at the Monroe County Senior Task Force Health Fair! It was a great day of conversations, resources, and supporting our local seniors and caregivers. Grateful for this community!

What a perfect day for comfort food and community! 🍲❤️

Today we hosted our Annual Staff Soup Cookoff, and the smiles said it all. From hearty homemade recipes to creative new flavors, our team truly brought their best to the table.

Even better was seeing our residents, staff, families, and visitors all enjoying the afternoon together - laughing, tasting, and voting for their favorite soups. Events like this remind us why Shadyside Healthcare & Rehabilitation feels like home: it’s the people who fill it with warmth.

Thank you to everyone who participated, tasted, and supported today’s friendly competition. We’re already excited for next year!

This week, our Shadyside team came together for a meaningful Veterans Day celebration filled with gratitude, connection, and community. With the heartfelt support of Amedisys, the local VFW, and Applebee's Grill + Bar’s, our residents were able to share stories, enjoy a warm meal, and feel truly celebrated.

We’re grateful for everyone who helped make this day special for those who have served.

Residents spent the afternoon enjoying a few rounds of co****le, popcorn, and good company. It’s always a great day when laughter fills the room!

We had an incredible turnout with over 160 trick-or-treaters joining us for a night full of smiles, laughter, and sweet memories! 👻

Families from our community stopped by to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and punch, while little ones showed off their amazing costumes and filled their bags with treats.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and made this night one to remember!

Our residents had a blast judging the costume contest today, and the winner was the adorable Lorella Magnone as a ladybug!
