Sharon Community Health Center’s is proud to share the launch of it's new Personal Hygiene Shelves, created to support patients in need as well as members of the greater Shenango Valley community who utilize the center’s food pantry.

This initiative was made possible through a collaborative effort between Sharon Community Health Center and Do Good. Period.., whose team donated essential period products to help stock the shelves. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to addressing hygiene insecurity and supporting the health and dignity of individuals in our community.

April is National Cancer Prevention & Early Detection Month — a great reminder that staying on top of screenings can make a real difference.

Heart health guidance is evolving ❤️ New cholesterol recommendations emphasize earlier screening and personalized risk assessment, including testing beginning earlier in adulthood for many patients. Recent guidance encourages more individualized conversations about long-term heart risk and treatment options.

If it’s been a while since your cholesterol was checked, talk with your provider about whether it’s time for screening.
