Grace In Motion Physical Therapy and Women's Health

Grace In Motion Physical Therapy and Women's Health Physical Therapy for Women: Orthopedic Manual Treatment, Corrective Exercise, Core & Pelvic Floor Hi! I also do virtual appointments for certain conditions.

I'm Nicole, I'm a physical therapist and owner of Grace In Motion Physical Therapy and Women's Health. I'm a PT with 13 years of experience in orthopedics, a residency and certification in orthopedic manual physical therapy, two wild prenatal and postpartum journeys of my own, a career history of watching women experience and recover from orthopedic issues differently than men, and a passion for providing exactly what they need to life full, active lifestyles. In 2023 I started own cash-based business to break free of the limitations I was fighting in the insurance-based clinics that kept me from providing the quality of care that I feel should be standard. I can connect your lifestyle and experiences along with the nuances of being a woman and treat your body as a whole to resolve any issues you may be having. I also do one-on-one prenatal and postpartum coaching to prevent and resolve any pregnancy and birth-related conditions, and cycle sync counseling to help you better work with your body and your cycle to achieve the most optimum physical and emotional health. I'm loving providing the highest quality of care for the best outcomes for all my patients. I believe that women shouldn't have to suffer from their conditions in silence for years as our mothers and grandmothers did, not anymore, if I can help it!

✨ Back to YOU ✨

All summer long, you’ve poured your energy into your family — from busy days with the kids to planning all the things to putting everyone else’s needs first.

Now that September is here, it’s time to shift some of that care back to the person who makes it all possible: YOU 💕

Because you deserve to be cared for as well:

👉 The neck pain you feel when you use your computer, use your phone, or drive your car won't go away on it's own.

👉 The pelvic floor symptoms that never quite went away after giving birth will only get worse when you start picking up and carrying heavier babies, carrying more bags, and chasing after them as they learn to crawl, walk, and run.

👉 Bodies in perimenopause and menopause need more care to protect and calm joint surfaces, preserve and increase joint and spine mobility safely, support muscle and bone integrity through proper exercises and stretching. It's impossible to navigate on your own.

🙌 That’s why I’m offering 15% off all physical therapy services during the month of September. Whether you’ve been dealing with aches, tension, or simply want to feel stronger and more energized, this is your invitation to reconnect with your body and prioritize your health.

Because when you feel your best, life is just better.

📅 The Back to Self Sale runs Sept 1st-30th, the WHOLE month, to give you some time to make time for yourself.

Book now to avoid filling your schedule by taking care of everyone else 😉😉

✨ It’s your season to shine — DM me, comment "BACKTOSELF" here, or tap the link in my bio to schedule your free 30-minute consultation today!

It's one of my favorite times of the year ✨️

Today's affirmation couldn't be more perfect.

Moms, and probably women in general, you spent the summer soaking up every second with your families and making all the memories 🌞❤️ In doing that, you probably didn't have much time for yourself.

Now, as schedules are shifting again, it's time to come back to yourself and what you need. Maybe it's an old injury that's crept up again, an overuse injury that's been ignored for a while for the sake of just having fun, an issue that hasn't resolved since having your last baby, or anything else that keeps you from enjoying everyday life.

I call it the Back to Self Sale 🙌, and it's all about giving yourself the permission to spend time helping you feel good. Because when you feel good, you're your best self. And your best self can enjoy all those memories with your family and friends even more 💓

The Back to Self Sale drops next week! Stay tuned for details! 🤩

At Grace In Motion Physical Therapy, we are proud to be a direct access provider. This is mainly because of the value that individualized, patient-centered, and patient-driven care has, and because of the transformations our patients experience as a result of it.

Check out the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) research study on the many many benefits of direct access care, including:

🙌 An average out-of-pocket savings of $1,828
🙌 40% fewer imaging orders/delays of care
🙌 40% fewer opioid prescriptions
🙌 40% fewer injections needed
🙌 65% fewer follow-up visits needed

And this wildfire smoke isn’t helping much either 😷🔥

Allergy season is around the corner! What does this have to do with women’s health?

That giant sneeze (or sneezes) 😤 that happens when all that pollen, mold, grass, ragweed, etc. gets all up in your nose creates a ton of pressure for your body to regulate.

And pretty commonly, if you don’t have the spinal or rib cage mobility 🧘‍♀️ + the core connection and strength 💪 + the right breath mechanics 🌬️, all that pressure goes down into your pelvic floor... and most likely – you’re gonna feel like you’re gonna p*e your pants 😅. Or you actually do 💦.

Add in pregnancies 🤰 and childbirth, pain 😖, or surgical trauma 🏥, and it’s going to be even harder to manage all of that under that much force.

Kegels might improve your ability to isolate your pelvic floor muscles, but they’re not going to address all of the above – the mechanics associated with managing pressure within your core ⚙️.

That’s why Pelvic Floor Integration Therapy at Grace In Motion is so different, and why patients have so much more success improving the symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction with our program 🙌.

We take a holistic view of how your body is functioning, and address each factor to improve your body’s ability to handle physical stress and enjoy your life – no matter what’s in the air around you 🌬️💛.

As women, that’s what we’re good at – managing stress and having grace under pressure 💁‍♀️💫.

But don’t be ashamed to get help if your body needs a little reminder 🤍.

Need help? I’ve got free 30-minute consultations to discuss your needs and how I can help 📅🗣️. Just comment "SNEEZY SZN" here or send me a DM, or tap the link in my bio! 🔗

✨ Why Women Deserve a Different Kind of Physical Therapy ✨

Because as a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy, I noticed a long time ago that women experience life differently, and require different treatments to recover from life's events.

Because the recovery my patients experience totally transformed once I started addressing these things.

Your body isn't just a collection of parts—it's a connected system. And that’s especially true when you’re recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy, or healing postpartum.
Swipe ➡️ to learn why combining orthopedic manual therapy with women’s health treatments is a game-changer 💪💗

💥 Your shoulder pain? It won't fully resolve until you connect with your core.
🌀 Stiff rib cage? Poor posture? That can strain your pelvic floor.
💧 Leaking with sneezes or workouts? Let's talk thoracic mobility and core stabilization.
🤰 How you recover postpartum truly sets the tone for the next chapters of your life.
👣 From foot pain to pelvic floor dysfunction to joint and spinal pain—it's all connected.

You deserve care that sees the whole picture.
You deserve therapy designed for you.

✨ DM me “PT FOR WOMEN” to book a free consult and learn how I can guide you through this journey.

How are your 2025 resolutions going?? 🤔

As crazy as it is, we're already almost two full months into 2025!

It's a good time to check in with your goals, and not just to assess how much progress you've made.

Ask yourself these questions:
👆 How do I feel about the progress I've made? Have I celebrated my wins, even the small ones?
👆 Do I feel organized, that my plan and methods can be successful?
👆 Is there anything hindering me from making further progress? (This could be an injury, pain or another symptom, not enough time or resources to follow the plan you've made, sleep and energy levels, mental focus, etc)
👆 Do I feel like I need to seek help to reach my goals?

Especially as women, we often think we have to do it alone, that we should already know what to do and how to achieve our goals, or that we aren't worthy of seeking help. I know I've been in that mindset before, but this is not true!

We are commonly the managers and keepers of all the things in our families. You deserve at least as much guidance and attention to your own wellness and health goals as you devote to your family ❤️

At Grace In Motion Physical Therapy and Women's Health, we reconnect women with their bodies to live painfree, active lifestyles.

If you struggle with pain, movement, strength, stability, balance, core, or function, we're here to help!
