🌿✨ Birth Tip Tuesday✨🌿

Practice your breathing before labor begins.

Don’t wait until contractions start to learn how to breathe. Your body remembers what you practice 💛

Try this:
🌬 Inhale through your nose for 4
🌬 Slowly exhale through your mouth for 6–8

Calm breath = calm nervous system = smoother coping during labor 🤍

Save this for later!

To the mama breastfeeding in the middle of the night while the rest of the house sleeps 🤍

The house is quiet.
Your eyes are heavy.
And you’re wondering how you’ll make it through another day on no sleep.

Sweet mama, God sees you in the 2am feeds. He sees your sacrifice, your love, your exhaustion.

If you’ve walked this season before, leave a comment below with one piece of encouragement or a practical tip that helped you through.

Let’s fill this space with support, wisdom, and truth for the next mama chasing her breastfeeding goals.

She might be reading this in the dark right now 🤍

It’s a very common thing to hear from first-time moms: “I want a natural birth, but I’m going to the hospital for my first, just in case.”

We get it. You want to be safe. But there is a massive difference between clinical safety and physiological necessity.

In a hospital setting, “just in case” often translates to:
• “Just in case” you get tired, let’s start pitocin (which stresses the baby).
• “Just in case” you’re taking too long, let’s break your water (which puts a clock on your labor).
• “Just in case” something happens, let’s keep you in bed (which restricts your pelvis and slows down baby’s descent).

These “just in case” interventions often create the very emergencies they were meant to prevent.

Your first birth shouldn’t be a “test run.” For a low-risk mother, an out-of-hospital birth isn’t “taking a risk” but choosing the environment where your body is most likely to function exactly as it was designed to.

Are you planning your first birth? Let’s talk about why your home could be the best fit.

🌸 Perineum Facts

The perineum is the area between the va**na and the a**s.

During va**nal birth, it stretches a lot to allow the baby to pass.

Sometimes, it may tear naturally or need a small cut (episiotomy) to prevent severe tearing.

Gentle perineal massage before labor can help reduce tearing.

After birth, keeping the area clean and supported aids healing.

💛 Your body is made to handle this — healing takes time, but it’s manageable!
