Did a walk-through of two (2) projects we have on-going in St. John the Baptist Parish: New Reserve Library and West St. John Elementary School Annex Demo and Site Prep; See details below of progress:

Steel framing is a significant milestone in the construction process, as it forms the structural skeleton of the building.

Demolition/Site Preparation: Prior to the arrival of steel, the construction site is prepared by clearing the area, setting up temporary facilities, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Foundation and Anchoring: Steel columns are anchored to the foundation, ensuring stability and load-bearing capacity. This step often involves welding or bolting the columns to anchor plates embedded in the foundation.

Structural Assembly: Steel beams and joists are installed to create the framework of the building. This includes connecting beams to columns and erecting floor systems and roof trusses.
