"Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing." Acts 9:8-9
Hi friend,
After Paul encountered Jesus, he didn’t immediately step into purpose, he went blind.
For three days, he couldn’t see. No movement. No clarity. Just stillness.
That had to feel disorienting.
Paul had been confident. Driven. Certain he was right. And suddenly, everything stopped. The man who thought he saw clearly realized he had been spiritually blind all along.
I’ve had moments like that, maybe not physically blind, but seasons where God slowed everything down. Plans paused. Direction unclear. And if I’m honest, I didn’t like it at first. I wanted answers. I wanted movement.
But looking back, those were the moments where God was doing His deepest work.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t come through activity. It comes through stillness.
God used those three days to reshape Paul’s understanding, his identity, and his purpose. Before Paul could go out and lead others, he had to sit quietly and let God change him from the inside.
We live in a world that values speed. Progress. Productivity. But God often works differently. He slows us down so we can actually hear Him.
If you’re in a season that feels unclear or slower than you want, don’t assume something is wrong.
God may be helping you see clearly.
