A CEO Report for Anyone Running More Than One Life
If you’re a CEO, a parent, a business owner, or just someone trying to run a coherent life in public and private at the same time, you already know this:
The work doesn’t start when the emails do.
It starts before anyone’s watching.
My day started around 5 a.m. Not to be impressive. Just because that’s when my system came online.
Cold shower.
Yoga on the floor.
Meditation.
Reading real pages before the noise arrived.
Not content. Not performance. Maintenance.
Then the human layer kicked in.
Talking s**t with Marine friends.
Talking s**t with high-school friends.
Laughing, checking in, staying connected.
That stuff keeps you sane when everything else is pressure.
I log my days with AI the same way I log everything else that matters:
steps, thoughts, work, decisions, business structures, ideas, problems.
Not for show — for clarity. It’s a thinking tool, not a personality.
Then I handled school work.
Neuroscience forums. Comparing psychedelic states and transcendental consciousness. EEGs, brain networks, blood flow. I wrote it clean, cited it properly, submitted it, and moved on.
All before noon.
In between?
Real business conversations.
Behind-the-scenes talks that never make a post but actually move things forward.
Took a break. Played three-minute chess. Won some. Lost one. Talked more s**t. Laughed.
Helped my 24-year-old son with his work.
Because if you can’t show up there, nothing else counts.
Walked. Stretched. Cleared my head.
Somewhere in the middle of all that, I thought about how disconnected most “leadership content” is from actual leadership.
Which is why I want to call out someone who actually gets it:
👉 Justin Kramm
Founder of Sh*tshow Creative. Former senior leader for global brands like PayPal, LinkedIn, Nike, Salesforce, and others. He chose truth, humor, and results over corporate theater. Turns LOL into ROI without losing the human thread. Open about mental health. Allergic to bulls**t.
Follow this guy.
He’s a world-class s**t-talking genius — and I say that with respect.
(I’m just the Marine version.)
This isn’t about productivity.
It’s not about AI hype.
It’s about integration.
One mind.
One life.
Multiple roles — run honestly.
If this resonates, you’re probably already doing the work.
You’re just doing it before anyone sees it.
