February is , and today we’re shining a spotlight on our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation team! 💕💪

This medically supervised program provides exercise, education and counseling for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. Using a wide variety of equipment, including treadmills, recumbent bikes and ellipticals, patients receive personalized care in our 3,000-square-foot fitness center.

Through Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of nurses, exercise specialists and respiratory therapists to take an active role in the lifestyle choices that impact your heart and lung health.

Before joining Sheridan Green House’s long-term care team, Activities Director Kim Degraw held many of the same assumptions about aging that most people do: less freedom, fewer choices and a gradual stepping back from life.

But the elders she works with at Sheridan Green House every day have taught her something different.
